There are 2 types of Dashboards on Insight - Preset & Custom.
This article describes how to add an element/ chart to a Custom Dashboard.
You can add an element from any of the preset dashboards or a custom chart created by you from the Explore option.
1. Go to the element that you want to add to the Custom Dashboard. Click Add to Dashboard under the 3 dots.
2. You can add the element to a custom dashboard that already exists or create a new one and add to it.
Case 1: Creating a new Dashboard & adding to it
Enter a desired name for the new custom dashboard that you want to create, as shown below and then press Enter or click the Create a new dashboard.
Case 2: Adding Element to an existing Custom Dashboard
If you want to add an element to an existing dashboard, you can simply select the dashboard from the existing custom dashboard shown in the drop down.
After selecting the desired dashboard, click Add to Dashboard
3. The element is now added to the new/existing dashboard. You will see the below message on the screen.
4. You can now go to the custom dashboard & view the added element.
