TableCheck supports integration with many POS systems.
This page provides guidelines on:
- How the POS guest checks are auto-matched to the reservations.
- How to manually match the guest checks and the reservations, in case auto-match fails.
As shown in the above image, guest check data from the POS system is uploaded (once a day for batch interface & real time for real time interface) to TableCheck for auto matching with reservations & walk-ins.

Matching Logic for Guest Checks & Reservations
There are several conditions for matching guest checks and reservations, but if the table names are different in both the systems, they are not matched automatically.
If more than one table is assigned to the reservation/ walk-in, the guest check must have been created at one of those tables.
As matching conditions (other than the table name) may be largely dependent on the operation of the restaurant, they can be modified during implementation in order to enable matching.
※ If the matching logic (conditions) are set correctly, human efforts to manually match the reservations & checks can be minimized.
Matching Guest Checks Manually
If the conditions set in the matching logic for reservation & POS are not met, the POS checks and the reservations will not be auto-matched. In such cases, it is possible to manually match them. Also, in case there is an incorrect auto-match, it is possible to unmatch them manually.
In order to view the POS checks, click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the Manager system, and click on POS checks.
How to match reservations & Guest Checks manually
Step 1: Go to POS checks as shown above. On the left side is the list of all reservations, including walk -ins. The reservations whose status is Unmatched are the reservations which do not have any POS check auto-matched to it.
Step 2: In order to manually match, select the reservation for which POS check has to be matched, the unmatched POS checks will be displayed. Now select the corresponding POS check to be matched by clicking on + icon as shown below.
How to manually unmatch an incorrectly auto-matched Reservation & Guest Check
Step 1: Select the reservation for which guest check has to be unmatched.
Step 2: Click on the X icon to unmatch them.
