TableCheck Channels - TripAdvisor Integration Terms & Conditions

By submitting the optional service application, TableCheck Channels TripAdvisor Integration (the "Integration") user（"User"）hereby agrees to the following conditions.

 

  1. Integration activates a reservation button, which directs visitors from TripAdvisor to the TableCheck reservation page of User, on the location page of the user's restaurant within TripAdvisor ("POI page") .
  2. User may submit the application only after confirming that the POI page of User's restaurant exists within TripAdvisor's website or Integration may not be successfully built. User may contact TripAdvisor for assistance needed for creating a POI page for the restaurant. （https://www.tripadvisor.com/CreateListing.html）.
  3. User is responsible for assuring that the basic information include but not limited to the name, address, phone number and any other information about the restaurant on TripAdvisor's POI page matches the information saved in TableCheck. Unmatched information between TripAdvisor and TableCheck will result in failure of Integration.

    User may confirm and edit information on TableCheck (Please contact TableCheck staff directly) or visit TripAdvisor's help center for more information about editing the POI page on TripAdvisor. (https://www.tripadvisorsupport.com/en-US/hc/owner/categories/98).
  4. Reservations created via Integration are made within the regular TableCheck reservation page and follow the same conditions and settings made by User on TableCheck.
  5. The customer label ("Channel" in the reservation information interface) of the reservations created via Integration will be displayed as tripadvisor_api.
  6. The activation of the reservation button on the POI page may take a couple of weeks after the submission of the application.
  7. There are other third-party reservation service which are also integrated with TripAdvisor. If User is using both TableCheck and a third-party's service aforementioned, reservation buttons of both or one of the service may be displayed on the POI page. Reservation fee differs according to the service integrated with TripAdvisor and User may contact the service provider for removing its reservation button from the POI page if displaying the reservation button of TableCheck only is preferred.

 

  1. reservation fee applies when a reservation was created via Integration and confirmed seated. Any seated reservation ("Conversion"), the status of which is neither of "cancelled", "no show" or "deleted", will be recorded in a monthly report based on the day of usage. (ex. a reservation for 15th December which are created on 1st November will be recorded as a conversion of December.)
  2. TableCheck will bill User according to the monthly Conversion report. User is required to amend the status of each reservation made via Integration and seated during the relevant month of the Conversion report before 23:59, 2nd day of each month if the reservation status has not yet been confirmed.
    Invalid billing status are "cancelled", "no show" or "deleted".
  3. The reservation fee for one Conversion will be charged in the local currency in accordance with an agreement between User and TableCheck. The price may change due to the exchange rate fluctuation.
