This article describes how to control your Furthest and Closest booking setting by menu item.

Setting up
1. In TableCheck Settings, select Menu under Menus in the left panel.
2. Click the pencil (edit) icon against the menu item you would like to amend.
3. Under the Booking Rules tab, scroll down to find the Furthest and Closest Booking setting.
Furthest Booking
Option 1: Fixed cutoff duration
The option in the first row allows diners a fixed duration in advance to make future bookings.
If you are making a booking on 1st April at 15:00, the furthest available booking would be for 31st May at 15:00, 60 days in advance.
The option in the bottom row allows diners to make future bookings up to the indicated cutoff time.
- If you are making a booking on 1st April at 12:00, the furthest available booking would be for all available times for 31st May, 2 months in advance.
- If you are making a booking on 1st April at 11:00, the furthest available booking would then be for all available times for 30th May instead.
Closest Booking
Option 1: Fixed cutoff duration
The option in the first row allows diners a fixed duration in advance to make future bookings.
If you are making a booking on 1st April at 15:00, the closest available booking would be for 2nd April at 15:15, 1 day in advance.
Option 2: Fixed cutoff time
The option in the bottom row allows diners to make future bookings up to the indicated cutoff time.
- If you are making a booking on 1st April at 09:00, all available times can be booked for 1st April.
- If you are making a booking on 1st April at 11:00, the closest available booking would then be for all available times for 2nd April instead.
