A sheet controls a set of operating hours within your venue. Sheets may either run on a schedule as Regular sheets or be applied on specific odd days as an Irregular Sheet. This article describes how to set up a new sheet for your venue.

Setting up
1. On TableCheck Settings, Click Operations and then select Sheets.
2. Click the New Sheet button at the top right-hand corner.
3. Fill up each field as required.
Name: The name of the sheet you would like reflected (the name is for internal reference only, and not displayed to diners)
Sheet type: Regular - run on a schedule based on days of the week or the date range; Irregular - created on be applied to odd days / specific days.

Closed sheets are used when your restaurant is not in operation on scheduled days.
Days: Toggle the days of the week this sheet should be active.
Date Range: Select the dates if the sheet has to be used for a specific date range.
Meal Period: Select all meal periods that apply.
Enable Online Booking: Check the box if you want to receive TableCheck online reservations for the time & dates selected in the sheet.
Enable Online Waitlist: Check the box if you want to receive Waitlist customers via TableCheck online page.
Start Time: The time at which you would like your meal period to begin.
Last Order: The last available time slot you would like to accept reservations for this meal period.
End Time: The time at which your meal period ends.
Minimum end time should allow for at least Last Order + Reservation Duration in order for Last Order time to be bookable online. End time is not displayed to diners.
Waitlist Open Time & Waitlist Close Time : Select the open & close times for receiving Waitlist reservations if applicable for the sheet.
Add Turnover: Set specific seat timings that diners should be allowed to book for.

Add Duration Rule: The default duration each reservation should last for. This can be set differently for each party size as shown in the above image. If a duration is not applied in this field, the reservation duration indicated in your Menu settings or Venue settings will take precedence (in that order).

Floor Plan: Select the floor plan you would like applied to this particular sheet.

Pace Rule: Select the pace rule you would like applied to this particular meal period.

Order Selection: Select one of the displayed options, the value selected here will take precedence over Order Selection field in Venue Settings.
Furthest Booking & Closet Booking: Indicate how far / close in advance diners are able to make online bookings for for this meal period.
Click here to know how to manage furthest & closest bookings. If a duration is not applied in this field, the reservation duration indicated in your Venue Setting or Menu Setting will take precedence.
Memo: You may choose to add more information about this sheet in the memo field for internal reference. This memo is not displayed anywhere else but here.
Note: When creating your sheets, if there is a gap between the End Time of the earlier sheet and the Start Time of the consecutive sheet, reservations cannot be created across the missing time. |

In the event you would like to create or manage reservations during operation idle times between meal periods, simply set the End Time of the earlier sheet and the Start Time of the consecutive sheet to the same time.
