What is SMS Customization?
The TableCheck system has default text for each of the SMS types that are sent to the diners. However, venues are able to customize the SMS content to accommodate various factors, such as the country in which your venue is located, the type of restaurant, etc.

Contact | Format of the phone number, e-mail address, etc. |
URL | Placement of reservation URLs and other links |
Date | Date format for reservation, billing, and waitlist. |
PAX | Party Size (Adults, Seniors, Kids, Babies) |
Customer | Format of customer name (Surname - First Name - Full Name) |
Misc. | Display special requests and reservation ID. |

Contactless Pay: Auto-Pay Completed *If the diner has a registered credit card and books while logged into their TableCheck account, payment will be automatically processed after the payment request is sent from TC Manager.

Who can use SMS customizations?
Anyone using the TableCheck system can customize the SMS in any of the available languages.
Is there extra cost involved with it?
There is no extra cost for customizing the SMS. However, if the SMS text extends beyond 160 characters for English and 70 for languages with double-byte characters (65 for Simplified Chinese), the SMS may be split into multiple messages, which will also increase the cost of sending the SMS accordingly.
How can I start using it? How can I submit the desired SMS content?
Below are the forms for each language, in which you can enter the desired text for each SMS type.
The forms are different based on whether or not you are using Payments on TableCheck, i.e. the CNP (Credit Card Integration) feature.

For example, if you wish to customize the SMS text in English and Thai, please fill and submit 2 forms. TableCheck staff will customize the template(s) and get back to you.
