Aside from manually assigning and un-assigning tables to reservations via the Reservation Form, TableCheck Manager also allows you to drag and drop reservations between tables for ease of use.
It is also possible to utilize this shortcut to add one or more tables to your existing table assignment.

Assigning to A Singular Table
Select the reservation from either the Floor Layout (left) or Reservation List (right) you would like to assign or re-assign for, hold for second and drag onto the table of your choosing.
Assigning to Multiple Tables
Begin by selecting the tables you wish to assign to first, and drag your reservations to the selected group of tables.
Adding An Additional Table
Begin by selecting the final group of tables (including the additional table) you would like to move your reservation to, and drag your reservation to the selected group of tables.
A new button is now available to quickly un-assign reservations from their tables.
The button can be accessible by first selecting on the reservation you would like to un-assign from the table, and selecting the Remove Tables.
- Table Lock has been applied for the reservation.
- The current user does not have the following permissions.
- Modify Reservations
- Modify Reservation Tables
- Remove Tables from Reservation
When attempting to utilize the Drag & Drop feature, you may realize that there are different colour indicators. The table below explains what each colour indicator refer to.

Drag & Drop Notes

Modify Reservations and Modify Reservation Tables role permissions are required in order to access the Drag & Drop feature.
- If there are multiple reservations assigned to a table, only the first reservation (based on time) will be dragged.
- If a reservation is currently Cancelled, No Show or Deleted, they cannot be dragged.
- The Drag & Drop feature is enabled for all venues as a default setup. Should you wish to deactivate this feature, this can be accessed via the Enable Floor View Drag-and-Drop in the App tab on Venue settings located on TableCheck Settings.
