Every customer profile can have information such as preferences and general information that can be added as a memo.
How are they useful?
1. Improve Customer Service
Storing information such as a customer's likes, dislikes, allergies help you to provide a better customer service to your guests, especially the VIPs & regular ones. You will not need to ask the guests every time or depend on a specific staff member who might know the guest well.
2. Targeted Marketing
Having preferences in customer profile helps you to carry out your targeted marketing activities smoothly. For example, if you have a Wine tasting event coming up, you can export a list of all customers who have Wine as one of their likes and invite them to the event.
Preferences are divided into three fields:
Memo in customer profile is of 2 types as depicted in the image:
- Customer Memo
This is general information about the customer that does not vary based on the venue.
This can be viewed and edited by staff belonging to any venue in the property.
Eg: prefers cold water, wife of Mr. ABC
- Venue Customer Memo
This is a venue-specific memo and is relevant only to that venue.
This field can be viewed by staff belonging to any venue; however, it can be edited only by staff of that particular venue.
Eg: Prefers table no. 5

Note: Customer Memo should not be confused with Reservation memo which is specific to a particular reservation.
