Introduction
This page explains the Birthday field feature available on the TableCheck Page. When guests enter their birthday, the information is automatically saved as a "Birthday" event in their customer profile.
Restaurants that wish to offer special birthday services or use the EDM marketing function to send personalized birthday emails are encouraged to enable this feature.

Birthday Field Settings
You can customize how the Birthday field appears on the TableCheck Page using the following display options.
| When Birthday field is set to "Hide" | Birthday field will not be displayed |
| When Birthday field is set to "Optional" | Birthday field will be displayed |
| When Birthday field is set to "Required" | Birthday field will be displayed and guests cannot proceed to the next page without entering the information |
Birth Year Settings
You can also customize whether or not you want to display the Birth Year. The setting works as follows:
| When Birthday is "Optional" or "Required" and Birth year is set to "Hide" | Year will not be displayed. Only month and day will be shown. |
| When Birthday is "Optional" or "Required" and Birth year is set to "Optional" or "Required" | Year will be displayed. |
Additionally, when Birth year is set to "Required", you can configure a Birthday Mininum Age requirement. If an age lower than the configured minimum age is entered, a warning will be displayed and the booking cannot proceed.
Display in TableCheck Manager
Birthday information entered by guests is reflected in the customer profile as follows:

Event List Birthdays are displayed as events in the Event List on the customer information screen. As the birthday approaches, the event will be highlighted in red to draw attention. |
