Insight supports exporting charts/ tables to the following formats:
1. Images
2. PDF
3. Excel
4. CSV
It is possible to export element by element or all the elements in a dashboard at once.
I. Exporting all Elements at once
In order to export all elements in a dashboard, click the three dots on the toolbar on the right & select one of the 4 highlighted options based on the desired format.
a. CSV
When the elements are exported as CSV file, a zip file is downloaded which consists of multiple files, one for each element. The name of the table is the heading of the chart/ table on the dashboard.
b. Excel
When the elements are exported as Excel file, a single file is downloaded with multiple tabs, one for each element. There are also Endnotes in the last tab which consists of list of the shops included in the report as well as a one line description of each tab.
c. PDF
When the selected format is PDF, additional settings window is displayed for the PDF download. All the fields have default values as shown below, but they can be altered as needed. After confirming all the settings, click Download PDF.
The resulting PDF is downloaded as a single file, and also has Dashboard Highlights at the top and Endnotes (one line description of each chart/ table) at the bottom, in addition to the charts/ tables.
d. Image
When the selected format is Image, additional settings window is displayed for the image download. All the fields have default values as shown below, but they can be altered as needed. After confirming all the settings, click Download Images.
The set of images is downloaded as a zip file.
II. Exporting One Element at a time
To export a particular element, click the three dots on the right side of the element and then select the desired format from the drop down.
a. CSV
If you select CSV, it is immediately downloaded to your local drive. The name of the file is the name of the chart/ table.
b. Excel
If you select Excel, it is immediately downloaded to your local drive. The name of the file is the name of the chart/ table. Excel file also has the Endnotes.
c. PDF
When the selected format is PDF, additional settings window is displayed for the PDF download. All the fields have default values as shown below, but they can be altered as needed. After confirming all the settings, click Download PDF. The PDF file also has the Endnotes.
d. Image
When the selected format is Image. additional settings window is displayed for the image download. All the fields have default values as shown below, but they can be altered as needed. After confirming all the settings, click Download Image.
