TableCheck now supports the Micros Simphony two-way integration. Below are the features available as part of this new release:
- Automatic check opens in POS for a Reservation
- Automatic check open in POS for Walk-in
- Realtime POS order updates
- POS Staff Name capture
- Split Check
- Merge Check
- Void Check notification
- Option to set post payment reservation status.
1. Automatic check opens in POS for a Reservation
When a diner comes to a venue for a reservation and staff changes the reservation status to Seated/Partly Seated in TableCheck Manager before a check is opened in Simphony, a check is automatically opened in Simphony.

Example: If there is a reservation in TableCheck Manager at 2pm on table “T1”, a check is automatically opened in Simphony if the reservation status is updated to Seated/ Partly Seated between 1pm and 3pm. |
2. Automatic check opens in POS for a Walk-in
When a Walk-in diner comes to a venue and staff adds a walk-in to TableCheck Manager before a check is opened in Simphony, a check is automatically opened in Simphony.

3. Realtime POS Order Updates
When staff adds an order to an open check, it is synced to TableCheck Manager immediately so that staff looking at TableCheck Manager can also check orders in real-time.
4. POS Staff Name capture
As we can capture the Staff Name also from the Simphony now, TableCheck Manager will show the POS Staff Name details along with the Staff ID. Also, the Insight Reports will show the revenue by Staff Name as well.
5. Split Check
If a check is split in Simphony, both the original and split checks are linked to the matching walk-in/reservation in TableCheck Manager.
When a check that is matched to a walk-in/reservation is split in Simphony.
After the checks are paid, they both get linked to the walk-in/reservation in TableCheck Manager.
6. Merge Check
If checks are merged in Simphony, one check stays on the reservation/walk-in in TableCheck Manager and the other check is removed from the other reservation/walk-in in TableCheck Manager.
When a check on table 11 is merged into a check on table 13 in Simphony (the check on table 13 is the base one), the check on table 13 remains in Simphony as well as TableCheck Manager.
The check on table 11 is removed in TableCheck Manager.
7. Void Check notification
When a closed check is voided in Simphony, the check is displayed with “VOID” line in TableCheck Manager.
8. Option to set post payment reservation status
When the check is paid, the reservation status will change automatically to “Check Paid”. Now we have the option to set it up as Check Paid/ Turnover/ Ready.
