What is "Reserve with Google"?
With the help of this feature, your customers can make online reservations directly from Google Search & Google Maps.
Customers can make a booking through Google Search & Maps as long as they have a Google account.
How does "Reserve with Google" work?
Once the feature is enabled for your restaurant, when a customer searches for your restaurant on Google or on Google maps, he/ she will see a Reserve a Table button as shown below.
On clicking the button, the customer can select the desired party size, date & time for the reservation and click Continue.
TableCheck will check the real-time inventory of tables for the selected parameters, and if the table is available the customer will be guided to the next step to enter personal details and click Book
Once the booking is completed , the customer will see a confirmation of the booking on the next page as well as will receive an email from Google.
Reservation Confirmation Page
Reservation Confirmation Email
Please note that the sender of the email would be Reserve with Google (reserve-noreply@google.com) & not TableCheck.
As you can see in the above images, the customer has options to directly call the restaurant and modify/ cancel the reservation through the displayed buttons.
How to differentiate Reserve with Google reservations from other reservations on the Manager system?
1. Channel
For every reservation made through Google, the channel of the reservation on the Manager system will be Reserve with Google.
2. Monthly Report
When you download the Monthly Report, you can see the number of reservations (and people) received through Reserve with Google, in tabular and graphical formats.
