For reservations made with a deposit, it is also possible to claim the previously deposited amount as a form of payment upon customer's request at the time of reservation.
In this case, you would not need to release the deposit, nor will your customer be required to produce a different form of payment (e.g. cash or a different card) for their bill that day.
Capturing the Deposit
Upon Arrival of their Reservation
1. Locate their reservation in the "Payments" tab under "Unprocessed".
2. Select the "Capture" button of the corresponding reservation which you would like to capture
3. Select an updater.
4. Enter the desired amount you wish to charge (maximum amount is the initial deposited
amount) in the "Amount to Charge" field, and click on "Capture".
