Is the credit card information input by the customer secure?
All information made available on and via the reservation page is encrypted. Additionally, the credit card details input by your customers are managed by the payment gateway companies and is not held nor stored within TableCheck.
Will my shop staff be able to view the customer's credit card details?
No. You are unable to view any details pertaining to customer's credit card via your Manager system.
Are customers able to amend online reservation details with prepayment / deposit collected on TableCheck? If so, what will happen to the collected amount?
Customers are unable to make changes to their reservations if the reservation has been prepaid or has a deposit being held.
※ From your Manager system, staff are also unable to make amends to menu orders of such reservations.
Therefore, if such changes are necessary, users will be required to cancel the current reservation and void / refund any credit card holdings or payments and recreate the reservation.
What happens to my debit card when I am making a deposit?
When the deposit is request is sent to your debit card, a withdrawal process (instant deduction) is carried out.

Upon release of deposit, when will the amount be refunded / released?
For deposits, generally funds will be released within 7 - 14 days.
For prepayments, generally funds will be refunded upon the receipt of cancellation data, although time frames may vary depending on the customer's issuing bank / card company.
※ Please note that in the cases of refunds for prepayments, the data retention period is within the period of 180 days from the reservation creation date. Once exceeded, refunds from the Manager system will not be possible.
What if the customer requires me to issue a receipt?
You are under no obligation to issue a receipt in this case, as the usage statement of the credit card serves as an official document. You may also use "Payment with Credit Card" as a provision, if absolutely unavoidable.
